Draught beer is beer on tap.  It is beer the way the brewer intended it to be. It is the opportunity to give the consumer an experience that they can't get from a bottle or can. But, it can also be a headache if it is not done correctly.

The beer leaves the brewery in perfect condition.  Is it treated well between this time and the time the consumer picks up a glass of your finest beer?  Some things to consider:

• how are the kegs transported from the brewery?
• where and how are the kegs stored?
• is the dispense system correctly designed, cleaned and maintained?
• is the correct dispense gas being used?
• does your beer stand out at the bar?
• are the glasses appropriate for the beer and are they 'beer clean'?
• can the staff pour and present the perfect beer?
