Wastewater Treatment

Your local water authority may require you to treat the waste stream leaving your brewery.

For small breweries, this can be achieved relatively cheaply and simply by installing a pH correction unit and possibly basic temperature treatment.  Larger breweries may be required to install more comprehensive wastewater treatment to bring parameters such as BOD, COD and suspended solids into specification.  Skid-mounted units are available.
